Unbearable joy is felt when an old book, or a novel we have read since the age of a child has been adapted for the stage. Imagine playing the lead character in the book or story that you enjoyed as a child. Feels surreal? Olivia Rodrigo had a similar experience. Olivia was introduced to the world of acting after being cast in the lead role of the show American Girl -the episodes of which Rodrigo was viewing since just 7 years old. Olivia was offered the opportunity to portray her favorite persona, one she was a fan of since her childhood. The talent of this teen became apparent quickly, and her appearance is now known to many viewers on the Disney channel. Although it was a wonderful achievement, it came at a high price.
